hello!
I am a graduate in Design from IIT Guwahati. At college I was introduced to various disciplines like Interaction design, Visual Design, Cognitive Psychology, Design Management, Object oriented programming and basic concepts of Java. With this unique combination of interdisciplinary knowledge I am ever-ready to take up projects which are technically challenging. I believe strongly in User centered Design process and follow it religiously.
My prior work experience consists of designing interactive web applications, interface design for software applications and illustration.
Recent Work
The project that I have completed recently is “Smart Buy”. It is my thesis project and it took a duration of over 7-8 months to complete. The “Smart Buy” project aims to enhance the retail experience of a consumer using physical computing, ubiquitous computing and other related technologies. The project deliverable is an intelligent kiosk, which provides the user a service to compare the products/brands and make their purchase decisions. Click here to read more
Inspiration
I do design as it is lots of fun and gives me a chance to get out of ‘my world’ and enter the ‘user’s world’. A new experience every single time!
Other Interests
Apart from Interaction Design, his passion includes Coding web applications, Reading, Travel and Adventure Sports, Play guitar and learning Chinese Culture.
